    John McShane(Author)
This is a comprehensive look at the events leading up to the death of Baby P. A recent investigation has found that there was poor communication between authorities, a repeated failure to take into account the child's history and inaccurate documentation of events by Haringey Council. Child protection plans were heavily criticized in the inspection report for being disorganized with little analysis of the child and no clear decision-making. With the three perpetrators awaiting sentencing and politicians debating what can be done now and in the future, the public are left angry and bewildered as just how this was allowed to happen.

John McShane is the author of "Didier Drogba," "Heath Ledger," and "Nowhere to Hide."

Wasn't proof read before publication so there are tons of errors...So I marked it down on that. Repetitive on some things (mark down)...boring on reports (However I can't mark down on this as it was government type reports). However this book answered why it happened in why he escaped the authorities notice... their failings brought on by the agencies not corresponding with each other and Conelly's lies.It explained the dynamics of family life...her past which wasn't great but not an excuse....because a lot of us have been thru s*** and not resorted to child abuse. It was obvious Barker caused his death...however his Brother Owen (surname changed).... the book doesn't implicate him other than the fact he was living in the house with his GF... the GF escaped any implications even though she knew the abuse was taking place as shes was under 18 at the time. Conelly was never implicated in the abuse ...other than she covered up for Barker...the same as his Brother, but I guess both knew and let it happen, covered it up,which makes them just as guilty.Such a gorgeous blue eyed blonde haired angel.Hope he RIP. xxx

Horrendous story, but brilliantly and knowledgeably written. Such a shame that justice was not served in my view. May that beautiful little angel rest in peace, but also that his siblings will be able to recover from their past and go on to have good lives. For those 3 evil animals that murdered him, I hope they one day get the punishment they deserve.

Such a sad , and terrible story , of this young boy, what these so called humans did to this little boy is shocking. It made me cry. You feel yourself shouting out Help him. The cruelity he had to endure is terrible,

I liked this for the information, but it was so sad that it played on my mind for some time afterwards
