A very good textbook highlighting the Tudor rebellions from Henry VII's reign to the end of Elizabeth I's reign. The rebellions are assessed very logically, helping to give a clear picture. Each rebellion is structured effectively with aims, background, events and consequences. For me this book proved to be a good source for my History study at sixth form level and I am sure that it would be useful at undergraduate level for university as well.

Absolutely fantastic revision book! I can't recommend it highly enough!I've just done my first History unit at university and found this was absolutely perfect to use for my revision. It contains just enough detail to make sure it is above A level standard (although it can be used quite easily by A Level students) while not being so finely detailed that it'll leave you behind. Each section deals with one monarch and the rebellions faced by them, with each rebellion's events, causes and reasons for failure being looked at in turn afterwards. Up to date historical opnions are brought in occasionally, so that this book can also be used to help with research for an essay. It may be a skinny book, but it contains absolutely everything you need to know.

This book is a set text book for A-Level history and is a course requirement, so I guess that makes it good. It was well packed and arrived on time.
